Critiques and courses
The vast majority of our critiques and courses are delivered via email, but please contact us if you live within the UK and would prefer to use the postal service to send and receive documents. If you choose to use the postal services, you must send a stamped, self-addressed envelope for return of your critique, or (in the case of courses) pay a postal surcharge.

Critiques: Please make your payment online, and then email your text for critique as directed. You can normally expect to receive your critique within fourteen days, though there may be delays at exceptionally busy times or for longer manuscripts. If this is the case, we will contact you to let you know when you can expect your critique to arrive. Critique fees are not refundable (your statutory rights are not affected).

Courses: Please make your payment online, following any instructions given at the time of purchase for the course you have chosen. You can expect to receive your first course unit within a week of payment  (except in the case of individually tailored courses, which may take up to two weeks after receipt by your tutor of any additional materials requested, such as samples of previous writing projects).  Subsequent tutor feedback will normally be given within two weeks of the tutor's receipt of completed course assignments, though this may vary at exceptionally busy times. In this case, your tutor will let you know when you can expect to receive your feedback. Course fees will be refunded only in very exceptional circumstances, and will be limited to a sum proportional to any remaining unmarked assignments (your statutory rights are not affected).
